One week on from Dscoop Edge Orlando and we have had time to take stock on what was our most successful Dscoop event to date!
We are always so happy to meet up with the Dscoop community - we have always known, ‘there aint no party like a Dscoop party’ - and this year it proved the most rewarding yet for Infigo Software and for many of the other exhibitors we spoke to. It really is a coming together of likeminded industry professionals that have the same passion for print and technology.
We were flat out for the two and half days of Edge Orlando; with over 50 demos of our Catfish platform given and the most pre-booked demos we have taken in Infigo’s Dscoop history; Catfish was on show for all Dscoop attendees to see as it provided the platform for the Dscoop WOW App; and finally, we were lucky enough to be joined by Chris Halkovic, Digital Workflow Manager and Web-to-Print Manager from Arizona State University on our stand. Chris was invited to Dscoop as a special guest of HP, as an integral part of their education programme, and given the close working relationship we have with Chris and his team, coupled with their advanced understanding of the Catfish platform, we were thrilled that Chris was able to demo Catfish with us on booth #633.
Our Director of Customer Success, Infigo Software’s Greg Young, is already looking forward to the next Dscoop event, ‘We had an incredible time at Dscoop Edge meeting with forward thinking PSPs and other vendors. Dscoop is the best environment in our industry to meet likeminded people who want to listen, learn and adapt. I’m looking forward to Dscoop EMEA to carry on the conversations...!’
Edge Orlando saw our largest collaboration to date, too. We demonstrated in real time the power of automation, personalization and label printing with a unique WOW App that we developed especially for Edge Orlando in partnership with the Dscoop Mobile App. The App allowed users to personalize WOW Super Sample notebooks and high-security personalized labels, and was developed in collaboration with 10 partners, HP included, and of course ourselves in addition. To be brief about the workflow is a little tricky but we’ll give it our best shot.
Once the Dscoop mobile app was downloaded and the Infigo Catfish platform accessed, the workflow progressed through 9 partner companies: OneFlow, Composer, Site Flow, HP Indigo, Nobelus/DeltaModTech, Duplo, Muller Martini and Avanti. This powerful multi-company collaboration brought the Catfish platform straight to attendee’s mobile devices and demonstrated the best in print, automation and personalization. We hope that in the not too distant future this technology will be common place across consumer markets, to the point that you would be able to pick up personalized products in store having added the personalized elements en route to the store on your mobile phone.
The combined power of these integrations allowed a demonstration of how to add value, differentiate your print and add security features to print, adding brand protection and ultimately increasing revenue and profitability.
Dscoop Edge, Orlando, was a huge pleasure to attend. The event delivered on its promise and proved a great success for us and our partners. We are excited by the conversations we had, the meetings and demos we held, and by the prospects for the future we have built. Douglas Gibson, CEO & Founder of Infigo Software, loved the added bonus of working so closely with Bob Raus, "Working with Bob Raus and his team was extremely exciting for myself and Infigo; the end product not only looked amazing, but worked as a GREAT demonstration of true end-to-end workflow, showing off just what can be achieved when partners work together to build great things."
