Infigo Software are proud to announce that our first new partner membership of 2019 is with the fantastic educator, Two Sides. Two Sides is a leader in education and myth busting, and dedicated to improving standards across our industry, generating positive PR and maximising consumer confidence in all aspects of the print and graphics communication supply chain.

At Infigo Software we are acutely aware of the need to keep the print buying public properly informed and educated across the positive and ongoing improvements the industry undertakes to benefit the environment across Europe. For instance, did you know that over 72% of paper consumption in Europe is recycled, energy consumption is now lower than it was at the beginning of the Century and the industry is key in the continuing growth of European forests – at their current rate they are growing in size by an area over 1500 football pitches every day.

Two Sides, a not-for-profit, is a critical player in this campaign. Established in 2008 and comprised of members from the graphic communications supply chain, Two Sides set about creating a forum for the industry to work together and share experiences, improve standards and practices and work collectively to better the public’s understanding of the industry. It has since grown in reputation and size exponentially. Membership for us, as for all members, came only after a commitment to adopt the Two Side Principles:

• We will conduct our businesses in an environmentally and socially responsible manner
• We support and will encourage forest certification schemes as well as the practical use of recycled fibre in suitable products
• We will employ procedures that are aimed at ensuring the purchase of raw materials from sustainably managed sources
• We will measure and manage our environmental footprint by eliminating or minimising negative environmental impacts
• We support the implementation of effective recycling schemes and the minimisation, and eventual elimination of Print and Paper waste in landfill
• We will improve the sustainability of our business operations by measuring and minimising our waste and our use of water and energy

Being a business that is immersed in all things print, and all things across the print industry’s supply chain, we are mindful of the struggles that printers and print service providers face, and the collective and individual efforts undertaken by all to maintain and the industry’s hard won excellent reputation. We are proud to support Two Sides and are looking forward to helping push the positive messages that grow confidence in all areas of our industry.
